End of Summer 2011

4th of July at Papa and Nana's house.  Brooke, Hayden, Ava
Lots of grandkids at the pool. Supposedly this is all the cousin's kids together.
 Happy Sunburned 4th of July!
Cameron took some soccer lessons this summer.  She was pretty good!  She dribbled the ball and could do all the skills they asked.  I love watching soccer so I hope she continues to enjoy it.
Brooke thought she looked so lovely and wanted her picture taken.
We had a lot of playdates with our summer friends.  Maria, Cameron, Grace and Carmen are enjoying some pushups.
La Bruja!!!!  Brooke likes to be a witch.  "I'm la bruja."
Cameron is growing up fast!  She loves listening to the ipod.  Blacke Eyed Peas, Britney, Usher...  She's got some pretty sweet dance moves too!
FINALLY!  Off to rehearsal for Auntie Beka's wedding!
My rare mom and girls photo.
Brooke has packed her bags and is heading to Hollywood.  It might be the sunglasses.  She wears them non-stop.  My favorite is when we were in a store and Brooke was wearing a dress, her sun glasses and was carrying a purse.  Some grandpa-ish man did a double take and said "Well, Hello Hollywood!"  It was pretty funny.
So cute!  Notice the glasses... told ya.
Papa and his 3 lovely girls.
Getting hair styled the day of the wedding.  Brooke was pretty patient.  It took almost an hour for them to curl and style Cameron's hair.
Brooke has about 1/3 the amount of hair Cameron does so it only took her about 20 mins...
 What a happy Flower Girl...it won't last.
 Cameron
Snuggles and nookie.  Brooke missed her nap and that caused some crying. She does love her naps.  I think that is her favorite time of the day.
 Twins!  Cameron and Hayden
Made Tim take a pic of me and my big girl.  They were very well behaved, although it helped we gave them whatever they wanted, M&Ms, new toys, movies, pop.... all in the name of having happy kids for a day.
 The Fancy Rogges!
 The Too Cool Kallas!
Studly Ring Bearer Ethan (Notice Jen - she looks like she is practicing her sweet dance moves in the background. Heee heee heee)
Brooke refused to walk down the aisle so Tim carried her.  What a trooper.

Beka and Chip.... so beautiful!
Brooke dunking knives in her water...
Papa and Nana at the reception.  The girls can't wait to dance!
No one is as cool as Aunt Beka and Uncle Chocolate Chip!
They danced and drank pop and had so much fun they nearly dropped right over!  Everything we smooth and it was a wonderful time.

I have a few more pics to add, but I will do that another time. We are heading to the State Fair tomorrow and then it is back to work!  I am soooo excited for this school year.  I will be teaching 5th grade at Akin Road Elementary in Farmington.  This summer went by slowly of course since I couldn't wait to set up my classroom and plan lessons.  The girls had a great summer. Cameron played soccer and went to Kids Kamp.  Brooke played with me.  We saw a lot of friends and family.  Kristin and her family came from Mexico and we saw them for 2 days in August.  I had not seen Sophia in two years.  Cameron said Sophia is her best friend.  I will post some pictures of them soon too.  We only had one wedding so that was a bummer b/c I love weddings.  Tim played some golf and August consists of many Fantasy Football drafts for him.  Fall is on the way... nothing I love more than the start of school and the cooling of the air...birthdays, Halloween ,Thanksgiving, Christmas!  It's all on it's way!

Cabin Fun 2011

Grandma and Cameron sitting on the porch.
Story time with Brooke and Grandma.
Grandparents brought the car to the cabin.  Such fun.  Here is the one time Brooke got to drive the car.  It's so amazing how the bigger cousins always end up being the drivers....  :)
This is pretty much the driving arrangement, sometimes Brookers hops on the back.
Brooke found her fishing pole.  They  love to be on the dock and practice casting.

Notice the old dock.  Soon to be replaced.

Patiently waiting for dad to get the poles ready...
 Go Brookers!
Cameron seems to have the hang of it.
The boys took the old dock out on Saturday and on Sunday they put the new on in.

 Pretty nice looking!
Tim, Tim and Scoots did the heavy lifting.
Cameron and Max sang the theme from Wonder Pets, "Teamwork...."  They helped by bringing the dock planks down the hill to the lake.
Maddie and Grandma helped too!  The dock is big and beautiful!  Tim did not get any fishing in however due to electrocuting his finger when his ring (he's a lefty) became a conductor when working on the boat motor.  The zap burned his finger as well as burning some spots in his ring...  He has made a full recovery - he completed golf rehab to strengthen his finger.

We took some Father's Day photos for dad's office.

Summer is on a roll.  I will be teaching 5th grade at Akin Road Elementary.  I am soooooooo excited!  I absolutely LOVE the Farmington District.  I am so excited for my new position that summer is going by slowly.  How funny is that?  I am enjoying each day with the girls.  Cameron is in Tiny Tots Soccer once a week and she is pretty good.  She will be doing a girls camp later in the summer with her neighbor, Erin.  Tim is golfing as we speak.  I don't dare go outside as it is 98degrees and he went golfing....more rehab I guess.

Spring 2011: Birthdays, Easter, Dance, Oh My!

Cameron is 4!!!!  I can't believe my baby is 4...
Cousins Ethan and Maddie celebrating with Cameron.
Cake time!  She chose a Strawberry Shortcake cake this year.
A WOODY DOLL!!!!!  Thanks Poopa and Grandma Sue!  Oh, and for the Jessie Cowgirl boots too!
Dance party in winter is essential for working off all the birthday treats!
Nice buns Brookie!  She's wearing underwear for fun, she has no interest in sitting on the potty.  Although, she is in her NO! stage.  Everytime I ask her something it is NO! So when she is done with that stage we'll try again.
Disney Princess on Ice show!  Hayden and Cameron are so excited!
Thanks to Aunt Jen we had FRONT ROW tickets!
 Doing hair
 You are so pretty!
Easter begins... Chocolate suckers from Grandma.
Delicious.
Joe and Ashlee are having a baby boy at the end of May.  To be named Wyatt as of now.  Wyatt is a great name!

Celebrating Hayden's birthday, she's 4 too! Dad had his birthday and Easter treats with Papa, Nana, Beka, Chip, Ashlee, Joe, Jen, Paul, Hayden and Ethan.  We the girls threw Ashlee a baby shower that day too.  Such family fun!
We left Beka's place and headed to Eau Claire for Easter.  The Easter Bunny found us!
The girls went to bed with their hair still in braids....
Hard to get a sweet picture with tired faces.
Brooke ready for church.
Poopa and Grandma surprised the grandkids with a Barbie car!
 They were pretty good drivers.
 Notice dad monitoring the driving.
Maddie and Brooke having some car time before Max and Cameron steal it.  It's tough being the youngest cousins.
Poopa and Brooke finding eggs.  The Easter Bunny hid some all over the yard.  We were lucky it was such a nice day.
A serious effort to get the grandkids looking in the same direction.  17 pictures later, there was not one picture where they were all looking and smiling.
Cameron hopped on board.  There are only 2 seats so she improvised.
Max and Cameron playing pirates.  Max is Jake and Cameron is Izzy.  Or so I was told 2343 times.
 Ballet recital #2.
 Cute hair girls!
 I love my sister.
Brooke all decorated for the big show.

 What great dancers!
 Being a butterfly
Brooke found her way into the circle...
Thanks Miss Gwen for the treats!
We are ready for summer!  Cameron will be in soccer one day a week and will do a girls camp 2 days a week in July/|August.  She is so excited.  I am excited to be home with the girls and see all our friends on our playdates.
