Easter Bunny Fun

We attended Papa and Nana's Easter Fest this year. We have a yummy brunch and then went on an Easter Egg Hunt. It was a great time. The kids love to run and play together. It was warm and sunny too, so that was like icing ontop of the French Silk Pie!
Easter morning we looked for the baskets which were hidden by that silly bunny! And ON MY what goodies were inside! Another attempt at getting four youngins to sit still and smile.

Cameron just loves being read to. She doesn't even have to know you very well and she'll come up to you with a book and tell you to read it to her.

Hayden wearing some stylin' Mr. Potato Head shades.
Waiting patiently for the egg hunt. On your mark, get set, GO!
So proud of her eggs! Should we mention the one that Papa put on a dead mouse? No? Ok.
Brooke found some too. Mostly the big kids just helped her out. Watch out for that shifty man in the back. He looks like he'd steal some chocolate!
Where is that darn bunny? Got any more chocolate?

Finding more eggs with Nana. Can't fool Brooke!
Hayden, Tim and Cameron on the hunt. And opening a few too.
Digging for chocolate and sharing with Nana.
We had a wonderful Easter Day. Beka and Chip got engaged! Congratulations to you both! Apparently they are not joining me in the idea of a summer 2010 wedding.... more like summer 2012... I am an impatient person though.
Kids are great. They are playing more and more together and not needing my attention 24/7. We have had random bouts of puking/fever stuff. But other than that this weather has been great for wearing them out. Nap on ladies!!!!

March Madness

"Where's your nose, Brookie?"
Cameron falling asleep during dinner.

Matching "Boti" sweaters made with love by Aunt Diann.

Someone thinks she is pretty cool.

Now that the teething and cold season is over, Brooke is one happy chica.
Rock band with Maddie. Went went over to play with our wonderful cousins on one of the most beautiful days we have had.

Later we enjoyed an afternoon snack outside.

Brooke is feeding Cameron.

What mom??? Take the picture already.

Someone became very attached to the bear/blanket this winter.

After snacks we played and I wore them out. Then Tim came home and ran them ragged. I love this weather. The girls were sweaty, dusty and tired. Hopefull April will bring more of the same.

Waiting for Spring

Princess Brookie.
We babysat cousin Carson in early March. Cameron loved having someone a little bit older to play with. Although, she was frustrated because he didn't do exactly what she said when she said it. Sounds familiar...
It was a glorious day out so we played in the snow.

Brooke is still not interested in doing anything other than playing on the cement. Fine by me.

"Where's your teeth Brooke?" Dad gets credit for all of Brooke's tricks. He teaches her all her basics in the tubby. Lately she has been sticking her finger up her nose when we ask where her nose is.

From piles of snow to 60 degrees and sun in 2 weeks. LOVE IT!

Snacks outside.

Sandbox time, sandles, barefeet. Can't wait!

Yum.

Delicious fun.

There is no such thing as too much chocolate.

Of course Brooke put her messy hands in her hair and when I tried to clean it up a new hairdo presented itself.

You are so tough.

Valentine's Day surprise. Cameron loves Fancy Nancy.

Poor Brooke

Mom and Brooke sledding We made it!
February has been fun. Tim got a job! Yea! Cameron is in swimming lessons which she absolutely loves. She even jumped off the diving board. She swims by herself with a noodle tied around her. We try to tire them out each day and that takes a lot of planning. Thankfully the weather has been great so Cameron is outside a lot. She loves the snow and never wants to come in. I have to bribe her with hot cocoa. Brooke is not as big of a fan of the snow. She'll walk around and look at it, but she won't walk in it or play with it. Maybe next year Brooke!
Hugs to all of you!
